Father's Day Weekend Specials at Kaiyō Restaurant

This Father's Day weekend, we are serving a limited special that Dad is sure to love: Wagyu Carrillera, a 12-hour braised Wagyu beef cheek lacquered in dashi, miso & aji pancas served with a smoked wasabi potato purée, blistered shishitos, charred shallot, pickled mustard seeds, crispy quinoa, and twice-strained jus.
To complete the evening, pair it with our special Japanese Whisky Tasting Flight featuring three pours from Japan's Mars Shinshu distillery.
- HARU (Spring) — Sakura Cask
- AKI (Fall) — Napa Wine Cask
- FUYU (Winter) — Chestnut Cask
Mars Shinshu is Japan's highest whisky distillery, perched over 2,600 feet up in the Nagano Alps. The Hombo family has distilled there since 1949, drawing on cool mountain air and soft, granite-filtered snowmelt. This flight features three pours from their highly sought after Iwai Tradition series.
Food and whisky specials are available all three nights (June 19 - June 21) while they last. Reservations recommended.
